Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for our construction and contracting operations in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with established main contracting companies in Dubai, managing multiple building construction projects, coordinating with project managers and technical teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage master project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring across multiple construction projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules, revised programmes, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and potential delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial, Procurement, and Technical teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Conduct delay analysis, identify project risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims with proper planning documentation and delay analysis.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, productivity, and resource requirements.
• Ensure planning activities align with contractual obligations and project completion deadlines.
• Lead and supervise Planning Engineers across multiple projects.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10–12 years of construction planning experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE main contracting companies.
• Strong experience in high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, delay analysis, EOT claims, and recovery scheduling.
• Proven experience managing planning teams and multiple construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai construction practices, project execution, and consultant coordination.
• Excellent reporting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
