PLANNING MANAGER

CONSTRUCTION - OPERATIONS

• Develop, monitor and update the master construction programme for the semiconductor facility.
• Coordinate with CSA, MEP, process utility, testing and commissioning, procurement, engineering and consultant teams to align project activities with the approved programme.
• Prepare detailed construction schedules, work sequences, look-ahead plans and recovery program to achieve critical project milestones.
• Monitor site progress, identify delays and critical path activities, and recommend mitigation or acceleration measures.
• Track design, procurement, material delivery, construction, installation and commissioning activities to ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate construction interfaces involving building works, MEP systems and specialized process utility systems to minimize delays and work clashes.
• Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, dashboards and management presentations for project monitoring and decision-making.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, programme impact assessments and variation-related schedule reviews.
• Ensure construction planning activities align with project specifications, safety requirements, quality standards and client expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10 years of construction planning experience, preferably in large-scale industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing or mission-critical projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Experience in fast-track construction projects with complex engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning interfaces is an advantage.
• Good understanding of CSA, MEP, process utilities and testing and commissioning activities.
• Familiarity with cleanroom construction, specialized utility systems and semiconductor facility requirements is an added advantage.
• Site coordination and construction execution experience will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, scheduling, reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to identify programme risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Able to work independently, coordinate across multiple disciplines and perform effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
