Planning Manager/AM (P6 / MS Project)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, construction schedules, and programme timelines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with the operations team, clients, consultants, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to facilitate effective project execution.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify potential delays, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Prepare and present regular project progress reports, performance updates, and schedule analyses to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Review and revise project schedules to accommodate changes in project scope, construction sequences, and site conditions.
• Assess the impact of variations and changes in project scope on project timelines, costs, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, delays, variations, and other significant events relevant to contractual obligations and claims.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Meticulous, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
