Planning Operations Coordinator

Solomon Page is partnering with our client, a leading specialty retailer, to hire a Planning Operations Coordinator for a 4-month contract based in Reynoldsburg, OH. The Planning Operations Coordinator will support promotional planning and business operations by managing promotional calendars, coordinating cross-functional communication, facilitating key meetings, and ensuring accurate execution of offers and promotions. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Location: Reynoldsburg, OH | Hybrid (onsite Tuesday-Thursday)
• Duration: 4-month contract
• Pay Rate: $27.59/hour

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and distribute promotional calendars and planning materials.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure promotional details are accurate, aligned, and communicated effectively.
• Manage offer information, including timing, eligibility parameters, and promotional details.
• Facilitate promotional planning, approval, and milestone meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and recaps.
• Serve as a central point of contact for promotion-related updates, questions, and communications.
• Support promotional testing initiatives by providing operational details and execution support.
• Prepare reporting and planning documents, including calendars, promotional overviews, and comparative business views.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support overall business operations coordination.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Retail experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail operations, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
