Planning Section Head

Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and guide planning team leaders and engineers across multiple projects.
• Review and approve baseline schedules submitted by the planning team.
• Coordinate with the Planning Manager to set planning standards, templates, and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure progress updates are collected accurately and on time.
• Review look-ahead schedules and key milestones with project teams.
• Analyze the impact of variations, delays, and extensions of time and provide recommendations.
• Consolidate reports from different projects and submit summary reports to management.
• Support planning teams in preparing scenarios for decision-making during design and execution.
• Coordinate with cost engineers to validate progress-related data for invoicing and payments.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure planning data quality and compliance with procedures.
• Support training and development of planning staff.
