What they need
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts. Monitor production progress and update schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments regarding material availability and production requirements.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.
- Prepare and maintain production planning records, reports, and databases.
- Analyze production data and assist in identifying scheduling or capacity issues.
- Follow up on production status and report delays or potential risks to the Planning Supervisor.
- Support the preparation of demand forecasts and production capacity planning.
- Ensure accuracy of production schedules and planning documents.
- Perform other planning and coordination duties as assigned by management.
