Junior Plant Controller – Puebla

A well-established Tier 1 automotive manufacturer is looking for a Junior Plant Controller to join its finance team at its Puebla operation. This is a confidential search managed exclusively by Chester & Black.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong controlling and internal control background to step into a plant-level role within a global manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Support plant controlling activities: month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyse management reports (Plant Report, Flash Report) and profitability by project
• Contribute to cost structure optimisation and plant factor calculation (Man & Machine)
• Support inventory valuation, cash flow reporting and internal control processes
• Partner with plant management and cross-functional teams to support decision-making

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Solid background in controlling, with internal control experience highly valued
• Previous experience as a Plant Controller is strongly preferred
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector
• Advanced English (essential — daily use with regional and global teams)
• Proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other states as required
