Plant Controller

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Plant Controller to lead our factory's financial operations, with a strong focus on cost accounting, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and CAPEX evaluation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing standard costs, analyzing manufacturing cost variances, evaluating plant investment feasibility, and developing business case studies. By partnering closely with the Factory Management and Supply Chain teams, you will optimize internal production processes, track relevant financial KPIs, and provide the strategic financial insights necessary to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Financial & Performance Management: Design, implement, and monitor robust data systems, cost reports, and operations-related financial KPIs to effectively measure factory performance and promptly identify operational anomalies.
• Costing & Strategic Analysis: Analyze comprehensive manufacturing financial data, standard costs, and variances. Develop financial modeling and business case studies to support new plant initiatives, providing actionable qualitative and quantitative insights to Top Management.
• Inventory & Asset Control: Oversee inventory valuation and fixed asset accounting, including managing periodic physical counting processes for both inventory and fixed assets to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a core business partner to the Factory, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure all financial and operational factors are aligned for accurate decision-making and process improvement.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the plant finance team, continuously enhancing their technical knowledge and professional skills in cost accounting and operations finance.
• Cost Culture Champion: Cultivate a strong awareness of cost efficiency, waste reduction, and optimization across all employee levels within the plant.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure accurate, timely, and sufficient documentation to maintain compliance and business integrity.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with deep and specific expertise in plant financial management, cost accounting, and manufacturing operations.
• Leadership: At least 5 years of proven management experience leading a finance or costing team.
• Technical Skills: Strong command of cost and managerial accounting principles. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Effective communicator and negotiator with a collaborative, hands-on mindset.
