Plant Controller

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant.
• Cost Accounting: Track production costs, analyze variances (material, labor, overhead), and monitor inventory valuation.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budget process and develop regular financial forecasts.
• Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and local regulations.
• Operational Analysis: Partner with the plant manager to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Experience: 6+ years of accounting experience
• Cost Accountant or Manufacturing experience
• Supervisory experience is preferred
