Bethlehem, PA | $120,000–$145,000 base salary DOE | bonus | Direct Hire | On-Site

An established manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller to lead plant finance and help shape operating decisions. This is an opportunity to take ownership, work closely with plant leadership, and see the impact of your work in production performance and financial results.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead the plant’s accounting and financial analysis while serving as a practical business partner to operations. The ideal candidate enjoys both accurate accounting and understanding what drives costs on the plant floor.

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, and material, labor, and overhead variance analysis.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, explaining results and recommending actions.
• Oversee plant accounting activities and support working-capital management.
• Review capital spending and evaluate project costs and expected savings.
• Guide accounting staff and improve reporting through ERP tools and Excel.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including manufacturing plant finance and cost accounting.
• Plant controllership or comparable ownership of plant financial activities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, close, standard costs, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Accounting-team leadership or supervisory experience.
• ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to explain financial results clearly to operating leaders.

Location and Schedule

This posting targets the Bethlehem talent market; the position works fully on-site at Lehigh Valley-area manufacturing facility . Typical hours are approximately 7:30 a.m.–4:30/5:00 p.m. Candidates must be within commuting distance; relocation assistance is not available.
