Plant Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Plant Engineer manages plant and facility operations, oversee industrial utilities, and optimize cold storage and processing systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, automation, and refrigeration systems with effective capital project management, cost management, and cross-functional leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Facility & Utilities Management: Oversee and maintain industrial utilities, electrical systems, power generators, and industrial refrigeration/cold-chain systems to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
• Equipment Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Direct hands-on maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic plant equipment.
• Automation & Controls: Monitor, optimize, and maintain PLC, HMI, sensor, and control systems across processing and plant machinery.
• Project & Budget Management: Lead plant engineering projects and manage CAPEX/OPEX planning and expenditure.
• Continuous Improvement & Cost Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and manage operational costs.
• Vendor & Client Relations: Coordinate effectively with customers and direct third-party contractors and service providers to support plant activities.
• Technical Leadership: Exercise decisive decision-making and provide leadership to facility engineering personnel and technical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational Attainment - College Graduate (Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline).
• 5 years of related experience in plant, cold storage, food processing, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Areas of Specialization: Cold Storage Operations, Toll/Rentable Processing, Plant & Facility Management, Industrial Utilities

SKILL SET:

• Technical & Mechanical:
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics systems.
• Hands-on expertise in Industrial Refrigeration and Cold-Chain Systems.
• In-depth understanding of Electrical Systems, Generators, and Industrial Utilities.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, Sensors, and Automation.
• Advanced Equipment Troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance
• Management & Leadership:

CAPEX / OPEX Budgeting and Project Management.

• Customer and Contractor Management.
• Leadership and Decision-Making skills.
• Continuous Improvement and Cost Management.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
