Plant Engineer (Executive)

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
2. Minimum 2 years experience in similar capacity.
3. Ability to organize work and work under pressure and adapt to changing workloads,
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with all of staffs.
5. Innovative to create idea for improvement & problem solving.
6. Familiarity with field data collection, research trial maintenance, and SOP compliance is preferred.
7. Able to record, organize, and maintain accurate research data with basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
8. Good communication, teamwork, analytical, and observation skills with ability to work independently.
9. Responsible, disciplined, adaptable, and committed to achieving research and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. To study and evaluate the process engineering of plant to meet the product quality specification and monitor the process control.
2. Design systems and processes and provide facilities & methods to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones into manufacturing operations.
3. Generating production documentation such as assembly instructions.
4. Establish and maintain Standard of Operating procedures and work instruction for all manufacturing processes.
5. Organise plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time.
6. Submit monthly report on the performance of production to superior together with supporting documents.
7. Monitor the daily job performance via manpower arrangement and attendance records.
8. Schedule, monitor and control on the daily job input and output. The planning instruction shall submit to superior for verification purpose before release.
9. Highlight any issues arise with progress to resolve it with other related department personnel
10. Work with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
12. Response for mobilise action during emergency of incident & accident related to plant process.
13. Monitor maintenance activities inclusive cost of expensed, spare part inventory and preventive corrective activities of each plant by working closely with Maintenance Department in order to control the maintenance cost within the budget and minimize process downtime related to equipment breakdown.
