Plant Engineer Technician (Engineering Technician)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain plant utility systems, including refrigeration, compressed air, power distribution, and steam generation equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of production, utility, and support equipment.
• Maintain equipment records, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation to support asset management and maintenance planning.
• Conduct scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including equipment condition monitoring and performance evaluation.
• Investigate equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment performance analysis and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure utility and facility systems are operating effectively and in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Observe and promote workplace safety practices to help maintain a safe environment for employees, equipment, and company assets.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Engineering or Industrial Technology-related course.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial utility systems and production support equipment.
• Background in equipment maintenance, inspection, and repair activities.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance practices is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Physically capable of performing maintenance-related activities in an industrial setting.
• Willing to work on-site in Canlubang, Laguna.
