Plant Finance Controller

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, variance analysis, and business review presentations.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and financial modelling.
• Partner with plant operations and business teams on revenue, margins, product costing, and financial performance.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, productivity KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Validate project savings, benchmark costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy, compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Improve reporting processes, data quality, automation, and financial dashboards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in manufacturing organizations, with strong exposure to plant finance and controlling.
• Expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and manufacturing costing.
• Experience supporting or managing a manufacturing plant with revenue responsibility exceeding 2,000 crore.
• Strong understanding of cost control, product costing, variance analysis, and productivity metrics.
• Ability to partner with plant operations and cross-functional business leaders.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and financial reporting skills.
• Automotive manufacturing, industrial engineering, electrical equipment, and other large-scale manufacturing organizations.
