QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Agriculture, or related field

·       With experience in poultry dressing plant, meat processing, or food manufacturing operations

·       Strong leadership and supervisory skills

·       Knowledgeable in food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures

·       Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

·       Willing to work in shifting schedules and plant operations environment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the poultry dressing plant to ensure efficient production, product quality, food safety, and compliance with company standards and government regulations. The role involves managing manpower, production schedules, sanitation, and operational performance to achieve productivity and operational goals.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Management

• Supervise and monitor daily dressing plant operations, including receiving, slaughtering, dressing, chilling, packing, and dispatching
• Ensure smooth production flow and achievement of production targets
• Monitor plant efficiency, yield, and operational performance

Quality and Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance regarding inspections and corrective actions

Manpower Supervision

• Supervise plant personnel, team leaders, and production workers
• Prepare work schedules and manpower allocation
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and discipline

Equipment and Facility Monitoring

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance activities
• Monitor plant cleanliness and sanitation standards

Inventory and Materials Control

• Monitor availability of production supplies and materials
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams for operational requirements

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare operational reports, production records, and incident reports
• Analyze production data and recommend process improvements

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
• Implement safety protocols and proper handling procedures within the plant
