Plant Head

Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage operations at our new manufacturing plant. The candidate should have 15+ years of total experience with at least 10+ years of relevant experience in the same or similar manufacturing industry, with strong expertise in plant operations, production, quality, maintenance, manpower, and overall plant management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete operations of the new manufacturing plant
• Plan and achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Manage Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, Purchase, and other plant functions
• Develop and implement plant operational strategies and processes
• Monitor production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, and machine efficiency
• Ensure effective manpower planning, team development, and workforce discipline
• Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement
• Monitor plant costs, wastage, downtime, and operational efficiency
• Ensure quality standards and timely resolution of quality issues
• Coordinate with senior management for business and operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies
• Develop and monitor plant-level KPI/KRA and MIS reports
• Manage plant expansion, new machinery installation, commissioning, and process development
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Build a strong and efficient team for the new plant

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• MBA/PG qualification in Operations/Management will be an advantage
• 15+ years of total professional experience
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the same/similar manufacturing industry
• Strong experience in plant operations and manufacturing management

• Experience with VMC/CNC, assembly lines, fabrication, or heavy engineering will be preferred
• Experience in ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle
• Strong experience in cross-functional team management and process improvement
• Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance
