Plant Head

The role

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Plant Head to lead our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall plant performance and operational excellence across production, quality, supply chain, engineering, safety, and long-term capability development.

This role requires strong operational and commercial acumen, proven leadership capability, and a hands-on approach to driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The candidate will be accountable for delivering sustainable performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while building a high-performing organization to support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, quality control, supply chain including procurement, planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of output, quality, cost, and delivery (OQCD)
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and internal quality management standards
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost optimization
• Lead, develop, and manage the plant leadership team and workforce, ensuring strong succession planning and capability building

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production systems, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems
• Proven leadership experience managing large-scale, cross-functional plant operations
• Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement
