Role & responsibilities

Plant HR Operations

• Manage day-to-day HR operations at the ChangodarBavla plant.
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for plant employees across shifts and departments.
• Coordinate with plant management, supervisors and department heads on employee-related matters.
• Maintain employee records, documentation and HR processes in an organised, audit-ready manner.
• Support smooth rollout of HR policies, processes and employee initiatives at the plant.
• Monitor and address routine workforce issues before they escalate.

Blue-Collar / Shop-Floor Employee Management

• Manage the day-to-day HR interface with blue-collar and shop-floor employees on the production floor.
• Handle employee queries, concerns and grievances directly and professionally.
• Understand employee issues and provide practical, timely responses or resolutions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and line managers on employee-related concerns.
• Support employee discipline and behavioural matters in line with plant policy.
• Manage absenteeism, workforce concerns and routine employee communication.
• Build and maintain a positive, approachable relationship with the shop-floor workforce.

Payroll & Attendance

• Coordinate and verify attendance inputs for plant employees.
• Support monthly payroll processing by providing accurate, timely inputs to the payroll team.
• Resolve or coordinate employee queries related to salary and payroll.
• Check and correct attendance/payroll discrepancies.
• Coordinate employee master data updates and payroll-related changes.
• Work closely with the payroll team on the monthly payroll cycle.

Labour & Statutory Compliance

• Support PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus and Gratuity related compliance activities at the plant.
• Coordinate contract labour-related compliance requirements.
• Maintain statutory registers and records applicable to the plant.
