Plant Manager

Plant Manager responsible for planning of manpower, machineries, equipment and materials for the Plant's smooth operation. The role involves planning and managing operation and maintenance activities, including coordinating and reviewing work plans for operations and routine or specialized maintenance work.

Plant Manager (Location: Kuching, Sarawak)

1. Planning of manpower, machineries, equipment and materials for Plant's smooth operation.
2. Plan and manage operation and maintenance activities, including coordinating & reviewing work plans for operations and routine or specialized maintenance work.
3. Provide administrative and technical directions to department staff ensuring adherence to Company regulations, policies and procedures.
4. Conduct, review and evaluate work methods and procedures to improve organizational performance and achieve department goals.
5. Developing and monitoring operational budget; participates in the forecast of necessary funds for manpower, materials and supplies; administers and monitors the approved budget to avoid cost overrun.
6. Monitor, implement and review the health and safety plan, and formulate new procedures as required.

Qualifications and requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years working experience as Plant Manager/ Operation Manager.
3. Good writing and communication skills in both English & Bahasa Melayu.
4. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, leadership, and motivational skills.
5. Possess strong technical background with extensive knowledge and/or experience in maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and project management.
6. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities at a strategic and functional level.
