Location: Phenix City, AL

Salary: 150K

Multi-Site: Phenix City & Montgomery, AL( Will help manage but little travel to the site)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a new and growing automotive manufacturing facility in Phenix City, AL , while providing operational oversight to the Montgomery location.

Automotive manufacturing experience is REQUIRED. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive leader to join a growing organization and help lead facility expansion, production ramp-up, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations and overall performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Employee Engagement .
• Provide operational oversight for the Montgomery facility.
• Lead and develop high-performing manufacturing teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and HR.
• Manage customer relationships, audits, business reviews, and escalations.
• Support new product launches, facility expansion, and production ramp-up.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive manufacturing experience.
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive experience strongly preferred.
• Previous Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple manufacturing departments.
• Multi-site or operational leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• Proven experience developing and leading manufacturing teams.
• Strong customer-facing and problem-solving skills.
• Automotive seat frame or seating component experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
