About the Company:

MNC based in Penang Island

Role Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Plant Manager provides overall leadership and operational oversight for the Penang and Taiwan factories . The role focuses on efficiency, on‑time delivery, cost optimization, and operational excellence, while coaching and developing high‑performing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage production operations, supply chain, logistics, and technology development across two factories.
• Drive continuous improvement using Toolbox and Lean Manufacturing methods.
• Oversee manufacturing efficiency, cost structure, lead times, and asset utilization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality management systems, and customer requirements.
• Develop and mentor operations staff, fostering a safe, productive, and collaborative culture.
• Monitor and report on budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and capital expenditures.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Facilities, HR, Finance, Sales).

Job requirements

• 10+ years in production/plant management, with 5+ years at senior level.
• Proven leadership in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and logistics.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean, and operational excellence.
• Experience in precision instrumentation or semiconductor support industries preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Malay.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing environment is advantageous.
