Synergy Infratech Power Systems supplies generator sets, enclosures, electrical houses, and SCR exhaust systems to the data center and power generation markets. We operate in the US, India, and the UAE, and we are opening a new US manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas, to serve fast-growing data center demand.

The role

We are hiring a Plant Manager to stand up and run our new Wilmer plant. This is a ground-floor role: you will train the team, set up the production lines, and build the processes, then own safety, quality, delivery, and cost as the plant ramps to full production. You will work directly with company leadership in the US and with our engineering and manufacturing teams overseas.

What you’ll do

• Lead plant startup: facility layout, equipment installation and commissioning, and production readiness
• Train supervisors, fabricators, welders, electricians, assemblers, and support staff
• Run daily production & assembly of generator enclosures, electrical houses, genset packaging, and exhaust systems
• Build and enforce the plant’s safety program and OSHA compliance
• Establish quality systems, inspection procedures, and factory acceptance testing
• Own the production schedule and on-time delivery to customer project dates
• Manage the plant budget, labor, materials, and inventory
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, purchasing, and logistics on customer orders
• Set up and track KPIs for safety, quality, throughput, and cost
• Drive continuous improvement as volume grows

What you bring

• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, including 2+ years as a plant manager or senior operations leader
• Experience in heavy fabrication, electrical assembly, or power equipment (enclosures, switchgear, e-houses, generator packaging, or similar)
• A record of hiring and leading production teams
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and quality systems
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling
• Comfort working with engineering and manufacturing teams across time zones

Preferred

• Experience starting up a new plant or production line
• Background serving data center or power generation customers
• Lean or Six Sigma training
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Pay: $95,900.00 - $129,000.00 per year
