Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing all mechanical activities within the plant. This role will lead the Mechanical section and will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment to support the uninterrupted production of high‑quality, cost‑effective electrical wires and cables. The position ensures compliance with maintenance standards, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to achieving production targets and delivery schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Professional licensure (Mechanical Engineer) is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical operation and maintenance of wires and cables manufacturing or similar set-up; preferably in manufacturing or industrial plants.
• At least 2 years or more in a supervisory or team-lead role.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utilities.
• Experienced in the operation and maintenance of Atlas Copco Compressor, Chiller steam generators, cooling towers
• Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents.
