Plant Operator

About Us:

Circular Communities Australia is Australia’s first purpose-built big bag recycling plant in Toowoomba, Queensland.

Our mission is to support a circular economy, significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize landfill waste.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at our recycling and processing facility.

Main Tasks:

• Safely and efficiently operate recycling and processing equipment
• Handle forklift operations and material movement
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform tasks as directed by the site supervisor

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may evolve to meet the company’s objectives.

Other Duties:

• Maintain water quality through the water treatment facility
• Remove byproducts and waste

Person Specification

Qualifications:

• Forklift certificate (essential)
• MR licence (desirable)

Experience:

• Machinery and plant operation

• Operation of mobile plant equipment
• Labouring duties and basic maintenance

Work Environment:
This role involves working in a physical environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying weather conditions.

Appropriate PPE and training will be provided.

Employment Type: Full-time, Shift Work

Hours: 10 Hour shifts | 4 days a week | Tuesday - Friday

Morning Shift: 4.00am - 2.00pm

Afternoon Shift: 1.30pm - 11.30pm
