Plant Operator

About the role

Wilmar Agrifert Pulau Indah Sdn Bhd is seeking a Plant Operator to join our dynamic production team. This is a full-time position based in Pulau Indah, Selangor. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role focuses on operating production machinery, monitoring plant processes, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations.
• Perform routine inspections on machines and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Monitor production processes and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping activities within the plant area.
• Assist in machine setup, material handling and production changeovers.
• Complete production records and shift reports accurately.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental (SHE) procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets.
• Support maintenance activities during plant shutdown when required.

About you

• High school qualification or equivalent; SPM or STPM is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, fertilizer or industrial operations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to work in plant environment.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
