What they need
Join our team as a Plant Operator for the Marais des Cygne Public Utility Authority and become a vital part of ensuring safe, reliable and efficient water treatment and distribution to the cities of Louisburg and Paola.
Candidates should have effective communication, organizational and public relation skills, as well as possess a strong technical and mental aptitude. Candidates with a Class II Water Operator license are preferred or the ability to obtain a Class II Water Operator certification within two years of employment. Candidates must live within a 30-mile radius of the water plant on the Marais de Cygne River.
The City of Louisburg offers excellent benefits including employer-paid health, dental and vision insurance at or near 100% depending on the plan; in addition to paid time off, sick leave and Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS).
Pay: $20.28 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
