Plant Operator / Labourer

About the Position

PADCOM is currently seeking dependable and motivated Seasonal Plant Operators / Labourers to support our upcoming production season at our potash operation near Russell, Manitoba.

This is a hands-on position supporting the safe and efficient operation of the plant. Employees will assist with plant operations, equipment monitoring, general labour, housekeeping, and other duties required during production.

This is a seasonal position with the possibility of continued or future employment based on operational requirements and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plant operations and monitor equipment and processes
• Perform general labour and production duties
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues or abnormalities
• Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning
• Handle and move materials as required
• Operate tools and equipment when trained and authorized
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Participate in safety meetings and workplace inspections
• Assist other plant personnel as required

Qualifications

• Industrial, agricultural, construction, mining, manufacturing, mechanical, or equipment experience is an asset
• Previous plant experience is an asset but not required
• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
• Reliable and safety-conscious
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
