Plant Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage procurement of indoor & outdoor plants across Bangalore and nearby markets.
• Develop and manage relationships with nurseries, growers, traders and plant suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure plants meet required quality, grade, size and quantity specifications.
• Track plant availability, pricing, seasonality and market trends.
• Develop alternate suppliers and reduce dependency on emergency purchases.
• Coordinate with FF, Projects, AMC, Logistics, Finance and Quality teams.
• Lead and manage the plant procurement team.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier data, pricing and ERP transactions.
• Conduct regular market visits for sourcing and supplier development.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-10 years of experience in plant procurement, nursery, horticulture, landscaping, agriculture or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant/nursery markets and supplier networks.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience in team management is required.
• Strong understanding of plant quality and specifications.
• Good Excel/ERP knowledge.
• Kannada preferred; Hindi & English required.
• Willingness to travel within Bangalore and nearby plant markets.
