Job Description Overview: Plant Quality Head

• Core Purpose: Oversee total plant quality, defect-free production, process improvement, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer complaint resolution.

• Key Responsibilities: Manage quality systems (IATF 16949, AS9100), lead internal/external audits, handle customer returns (8D, CAPA), ensure calibration of measuring instruments, and drive cost-reduction projects.

• Performance Metrics (KPIs):

• Customer Rejection / PPM Reduction (20%)

• Internal Scrap Reduction & Cost of Quality (15%)

• Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) within 15 days (15%)

• Instrument Calibration Compliance (5%)

• ISO/IATF Audit Compliance (10%)

• Continuous Improvement Projects (10%)

• Qualifications & Experience: 1015 years of quality experience in manufacturing/automotive setups, extensive knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), 8D problem-solving, and audit management.
