Job Summary

We are seeking a Plant Simulation Specialist with hands-on experience in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and manufacturing process optimization. The role involves developing discrete-event simulation models to improve throughput, identify bottlenecks, optimize material flow, and enhance workforce utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing simulation models using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
• Conduct throughput, cycle-time, and bottleneck analysis.
• Simulate material movement, machine operations, buffers, and production flows.
• Optimize manpower allocation and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain SimTalk or VBA scripts for simulation logic and automation.
• Perform scenario analysis, validate models, and present improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
• Knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation (DES).
• Proficiency in SimTalk or VBA.
• Experience in material-flow simulation and manufacturing optimization.
• Understanding of throughput analysis, bottleneck identification, and workforce planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Education

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
