Plant Supervisor

We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Plant Supervisor to oversee our ice plant and frozen fish cold storage operations. The ideal candidate will manage daily production, ensure the efficient performance of refrigeration systems and blast freezers, maintain strict temperature standards for fish preservation, and lead plant personnel safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day ice production, harvesting, and the storage processing of marine products/frozen fish.
• Cold Storage & Freezer Supervision: Monitor and control freezer rooms, blast freezers, and cold storage temperatures to guarantee product freshness, prevent spoilage, and comply with food safety standards.
• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor the condition of industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, cooling towers, and freezing equipment. Implement and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize downtime.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate plant operators, refrigeration technicians, and production crew. Manage shift schedules and manpower allocation.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company safety protocols, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, and sanitation regulations, specifically for facilities handling food/fish products.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of ice quality and hygiene, ensuring that frozen fish handling and storage meet industry and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Monitor stock levels of production materials, spare parts, and cold storage inventories. Coordinate closely with logistics and sales teams for efficient dispatch and delivery.
• Reports: Prepare and submit regular shift reports, production output logs, temperature logs, maintenance logs, and incident reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related engineering course.
• License: Licensed Engineer (RME or REE) is a strong advantage.
• Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of solid experience in plant operations, manufacturing, refrigeration systems, or cold storage / freezer facilities handling perishable goods or frozen fish.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in industrial refrigeration, temperature monitoring systems, troubleshooting industrial machinery, compressors, and electrical control panels.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work Schedule: Willing to work in shifting schedules and extended hours when necessary.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
