Position Summary

EarthWay is seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations. This position will lead production activities, ensure a safe and efficient work environment, develop and execute production schedules, and coordinate resources to meet customer demand.

The Plant Supervisor will serve as the second-in-command to the General Manager, providing leadership and oversight of day-to-day plant operations and supporting the General Manager in achieving company goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant production activities, including metal fabrication, injection molding, and final assembly.
• Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet product demand and customer requirements.
• Organize manpower, equipment, materials, and workflow to meet production goals.
• Monitor production performance and address bottlenecks, downtime, labor constraints, and material shortages.
• Coordinate with purchasing, maintenance, quality, engineering, and management to maintain production schedules.
• Lead, coach, and support production employees to promote productivity, accountability, safety, and teamwork.
• Ensure production processes meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall plant efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.
• Provide operational leadership and support to the General Manager and assume responsibility for plant operations in their absence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, workflow, and manufacturing principles.
• Experience with metal fabrication, injection molding, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple production demands.
• A strong “get it done” attitude with a hands-on, take-ownership approach to solving problems and getting results.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Competitive salary: $70,000+ annually, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Friday: Overtime as needed
