Plant Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Minimum Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
• 2-3 years industrial plant experience; used oil recycling, lubricant, refinery, or chemical plant experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English with basic skills in computer operations including MS Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to read, understand and monitor PLC/HMI panels and process parameters.
• Basic mechanical/fitter knowledge, including pumps, valves, motors, tanks, filters and pipelines.
• Basic electrical knowledge, including motors, MCC panels, sensors and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand basic P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Monitor plant operation, including temperature, pressure, vacuum, flow and tank levels.
• Conduct regular plant inspections and equipment checks.
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical and process abnormalities.
• Supervise operators according to production requirements.
• Maintain daily production records, shift reports and equipment logs.
• Follow SOPs and operating instructions and ensure the plant operates efficiently and continuously.
• Comfortable working in an industrial plant environment involving heat, noise, machinery, oil, and outdoor/indoor operating areas.
• Able to conduct regular plant rounds and inspect operating equipment.
