Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser/plasma cutting equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
• Maintain accurate production and material records.
• Work with the production team to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC laser/plasma cutting equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and verify dimensional requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with tablets, smartphones, cameras, and Windows PCs.
• CAD programming knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb on and off equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
