Career Opportunity – Plasma Operator

Location: NAFFCO Qatar

We are looking for a skilled Plasma Operator to operate CNC plasma cutting machines for GI and stainless steel sheet fabrication. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine setup, program loading, cutting parameter adjustment, dimensional inspection, and basic machine maintenance to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe production.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut GI and stainless steel sheets according to approved drawings and production requirements.
• Load CNC cutting programs and set appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and sheet thickness.
• Verify sheet materials, thicknesses, and cutting requirements before starting production.
• Inspect cut parts against drawings, dimensions, and specified tolerances to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance and cutting quality to minimize material wastage and production errors.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and coordinate with the production team to meet daily targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines for GI/SS sheets.
• Ability to load programs and set correct cutting parameters.
• Knowledge of sheet thicknesses, materials, and cutting requirements.
• Ability to check cut parts against drawings and dimensions.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance..
