Plasterer

ORG Developments Limited is a growing regional building, refurbishment and maintenance company, delivering a range of projects across the North East.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will have experience across all aspects of plastering and take pride in delivering high-quality finishes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for regular work with a growing company and a variety of residential, commercial, refurbishment and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of plastering and rendering
• Skimming, bonding, patching and repairs
• Internal and external rendering
• Preparing surfaces prior to plastering
• Measuring, mixing and applying plaster and other materials
• Ensuring surfaces are prepared correctly to achieve a high-quality finish
• Working to project specifications and timescales
• Carrying out repair and remedial plastering work
• Working alongside other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Liaising with Site Managers and other members of the project team
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
• Taking responsibility for the quality of your own workmanship

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Plasterer
• Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
• Experience with skimming, bonding, patching and rendering
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to Health & Safety

Desirable Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• Own tools
• Own transport
• Experience working on refurbishment and maintenance projects
• Experience working across both residential and commercial properties

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is skilled, reliable and professional, with a strong work ethic and a genuine pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.

You will be comfortable working independently while also working alongside Site Managers and other trades. The ability to maintain good standards of communication, cleanliness and Health & Safety is important.

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
