What they need
- Apply hand & machine plaster systems to walls, ceilings & surfaces
- Surface preparation: cleaning, priming, damp proofing, fixing beads & scrim
- Mix materials to correct specification; apply skim, float & set finishes
- Repair damaged plaster & render; measure & calculate material quantities
- Read drawings & specifications; maintain safe, tidy workspaces
- Comply with PPE, health & safety & site regulations
Position in Hierarchy Reports to Site Manager; may guide junior/apprentice staff
Normal Weekly Hours 37.5 (08:00–17:00 Mon–Fri) — overtime available at agreed premium rate
Required Skills & Qualifications NVQ / Level 2/3 Diploma in Plastering
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in solid plastering & finishing
- Competent in skim, wet plaster & render systems
- Ability to work from drawings; basic measuring & estimating
- Fluent spoken & written English; CSCS card; own tools advantageous
- Physically fit; reliable; committed to safe working practices
Pay: £41,700.00-£43,000.00 per year
