Plasterer

CA recruitment is seeking skilled Plasterers on behalf of Paul Magnier Plastering to carry out interior and exterior plastering on residential, commercial and industrial projects across County Cork. This is a full time position with 40 hours work week and minimum hourly salary of €23.74 an hour.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plastering.
• Mix and apply plaster, render and finishing materials.
• Carry out internal plastering, skimming and external rendering.
• Fit plasterboard, beads and mesh where required.
• Repair damaged plasterwork and achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Work from drawings and site instructions to complete work to the required standard.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and coordinate with other trades.

Requirements

• Relevant practical experience in interior and exterior plastering.
• Ability to produce high-quality finishes and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to understand work instructions and communicate effectively on site.
• A relevant trade qualification is desirable.
• Valid Safe Pass, or willingness to obtain it before starting work.

Pay: From €23.74 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
