Plastic Injection Technician

Job Descriptions:

1. Operate and monitor plastic injection moulding machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality
2. Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or product issues in a timely manner
3. Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on production equipment
4. Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and implement efficient manufacturing practices
5. Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians to develop their skills
6. Maintain accurate production records and documentation
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plastic Injection Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
2. Strong technical understanding of plastic injection moulding processes, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production data
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to maintain efficient production
5. Proficient in operating and programming computerised injection moulding machines
6. Commitment to upholding high standards of product quality and workplace safety
7. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor junior technicians
