Sahara Smiles Polyclinic (SSP) is a Dubai-based healthcare clinic offering patient-focused dental, dermatology, and aesthetic services. We are seeking qualified, motivated clinicians to support high standards of care and the responsible growth of the clinic’s services.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide specialist consultations for patients seeking aesthetic or reconstructive treatment, assess suitability for procedures, and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical indications, and realistic outcomes. The role will support SSP’s approved cosmetic and facial aesthetic services. Surgical procedures must only be undertaken at appropriately licensed and approved facilities with the required resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist consultations and assessments for patients seeking plastic, reconstructive, or aesthetic treatment.
• Evaluate patient suitability, medical history, contraindications, expectations, and potential treatment risks.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and explain appropriate options, alternatives, expected outcomes, limitations, and recovery requirements.
• Provide pre-treatment counselling and, where relevant, postoperative follow-up and continuity of care.
• Assess patients seeking facial rejuvenation and cosmetic improvement and recommend suitable evidence-based options.
• Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures only where specifically qualified, trained, and authorized by the relevant professional licence and facility approvals.
• Assess patients who may benefit from surgical procedures and coordinate care with appropriately licensed surgical facilities when SSP is not authorized or equipped to perform the procedure.
• Identify patients who require additional investigations, specialist referral, or multidisciplinary management.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, consent documentation, treatment plans, and follow-up records.
• Provide clear and ethical advice regarding risks, benefits, alternatives, expected recovery, and realistic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with dermatology and other clinical professionals to coordinate appropriate patient care.
• Contribute to the development of SSP’s approved plastic and aesthetic treatment services, patient education, and clinical protocols.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable DHA and UAE regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Recognized medical degree and appropriate postgraduate specialist qualifications in plastic surgery.
• Valid DHA professional licence or eligibility for the relevant specialist category.
• Relevant clinical experience in plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, or aesthetic practice consistent with professional credentials.
• Documented training and authorization for any non-surgical aesthetic procedures offered.
• Strong clinical judgement, consultation skills, and patient communication.
• Previous UAE clinical experience is a major advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the responsible development of aesthetic services.
