Plastics Tooling Fabrication Operator (CNC Trainee)

Shape precision plastics while you launch your machining career

Based in Marietta, GA, this role starts you on hands-on fabrication and quickly moves you into CNC operation. You’ll begin by mastering the band saw and finishing plastic molds, then advance to CNC work after your first month.

Day 1 to Day 30: What you’ll do

• Run a band saw to cut blocks accurately and safely
• Finish plastic molds with hand tools and a cordless drill
• Measure materials with a tape to 1/16 of an inch precision
• Lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds

After your first month

Transition to operating a CNC Machine with on-the-job guidance while continuing fabrication work.

Schedule & Pay

• Location: Marietta, GA
• Hours: Monday–Thursday, 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
• Pay: $19.50 /hour

What you bring

• Prior carpentry or fabrication experience (required)
• Comfort using hand tools, including a cordless drill
• Shop math confidence and a detail-first mindset
