Plater Fabricator

Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read, analyze, and interpret complex structural engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and isometric sketches for ships, vessels, and offshore structures.
• Marking & Development: Accurately measure, mark, and layout cutting lines on heavy steel plates and hull components according to marine design specifications.
• Cutting & Shaping: Use industrial machinery including gas torches, plasma cutters, guillotines, and grinders to cut, bend, and shape heavy marine-grade steel plates.
• Fit-Up & Assembly: Position, align, and tack-weld structural plates, bulkheads, and frames together, ensuring strict structural tolerances are met prior to final production welding.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Perform dimensional checks on fabricated items and follow strict shipyard work permits, confined space regulations, and hazard prevention standards.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Industry Experience: Marine / Shipyard experience is mandatory. A strong background working specifically in Shipyard / Drydock environments is highly preferred.
• Age Limit: Must be below 40 years of age.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
