Build the Foundation for a Growing Digital Innovation Organization

We are seeking a Senior Platform Architect to help define and scale the technology foundation for a rapidly growing engineering organization focused on cloud platforms, advanced analytics, AI-enabled applications, intelligence solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.

This is not a governance-only architecture role. We are looking for someone who has personally designed, built, deployed, and supported enterprise-scale applications and platforms in production. The ideal candidate understands the real-world challenges of platform growth, operational support, scalability, cloud architecture, and cross-functional engineering leadership.

This position will serve as a key technical leader responsible for establishing architecture standards, guiding engineering teams, influencing strategic technology decisions, and ensuring long-term scalability across multiple products and initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Define and maintain cloud, application, data, and integration architecture standards
• Design scalable and secure Azure-based platforms
• Lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making processes
• Work closely with software engineers, AI engineers, and business stakeholders
• Develop integration strategies and API frameworks
• Improve application scalability, resiliency, observability, and performance
• Establish support models and operational best practices
• Evaluate technology solutions and build-versus-buy decisions
• Influence long-term technology direction and platform strategy
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering best practices across the organization

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of architecture, platform engineering, or systems design experience
• Strong Microsoft Azure expertise
• Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale production systems
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Strong API, integration, and platform design experience
• Experience leading technical discussions across multiple stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to balance strategic architecture with practical execution

• Hybrid work environment

• Approximately 60/40 mix of onsite and remote work
• Candidates near other company office locations may be considered

Security Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Active Secret Clearance strongly preferred
• Active Top Secret Clearance highly desirable

• Base Salary: $165,000 - $190,000
