Two Contract Opportunities: Platform Automation & Integrations

We are working with an established Auckland-based SaaS business looking for two experienced contractors to support separate internal technology projects.

These are two distinct opportunities. You do not need to be suitable for both.

DevOps / Platform Automation Engineer
The primary focus of this assignment is designing and building a server configuration management tool to support reliable deployment of updates, assets and configuration changes across a hosted Windows Server environment.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong software development or automation experience
• Solid Windows Server and automated deployment experience
• Knowledge of configuration management, release engineering and CI/CD practices
• The ability to build stable, maintainable and well-documented internal tooling
• A pragmatic approach to testing, rollout and knowledge transfer

The implementation language and framework are flexible. Experience with PowerShell, C#/.NET, Python or similar technologies would be useful. 

Technical Integration Consultant
This assignment will focus on assessing the current state of integrations between an established SaaS product and a range of external platforms.
You will identify reliability, authentication, permissions, verification and user-experience issues, then provide a prioritised remediation plan. The level of hands-on implementation will depend on what is uncovered.
We are looking for someone with:

• Strong SaaS or application integration experience
• Sound knowledge of APIs, webhooks and common integration patterns
• Practical experience with OAuth, app registrations, permissions and vendor verification
• The ability to investigate issues through logs, configuration, documentation and existing code
• A structured approach to technical assessment and recommendations
• Enough hands-on capability to implement or validate practical fixes

Contract details Both are short-term Auckland-based assignments.
