Platform Delivery Manager

We are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Platform Delivery Manager to coordinate and drive platform engineering delivery within our IT Infrastructure & Operations Tribe. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering Leads, Product Owners, and cross-functional squads to ensure platform capabilities are planned, tracked, and delivered reliably to support wider product teams.

This role focuses on squad-level delivery management, day-to-day execution, and continuous improvement within a defined platform domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Execution: Support the end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives across assigned squads, tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate standard agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to keep squad velocity and focus high.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate squad-level delivery risks, blockers, and technical dependencies, escalating to senior leadership when necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, platform/infrastructure specialists, security, and product owners to align delivery goals.
• Continuous Improvement & Metrics: Monitor squad delivery metrics, assist in team health tracking, and implement continuous process improvements based on retrospective insights.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Provide clear, consistent visibility on progress, squad status, and platform outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

• Technical Delivery Experience: Proven track record in delivery coordination or project management within technology, infrastructure, platform, or systems environments.
• Agile Fluency: Solid hands-on experience facilitating agile/scrum delivery in cross-functional technical teams.
• Domain Familiarity: Broad exposure to core technical environments (e.g., infrastructure, platform engineering, networking, or security).
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Clear ability to translate technical progress into actionable updates for diverse stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience using delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Foundational understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern platform engineering concepts.
• Relevant delivery certifications (Scrum Master, Agile PM, PMP).
