Platform Developer – Solutions, Integrations & Data Analytics

Location: Fort Washington, PA — 100% onsite

Salary: $95,000–$125,000

Travel: Up to 25%; travel and mileage reimbursed

Eligibility: U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. An active clearance is not required to apply; our client sponsors the clearance process.

We are hiring for our client, an established software company that develops enterprise records management, case management, and information governance solutions for federal agencies.

This position combines software development, systems integration, and data analytics. You will configure solutions on an enterprise platform, connect customer systems through APIs and data feeds, and build reporting that helps agencies understand and manage their information.

You will work closely with senior developers and product engineers, collaborate directly with customer stakeholders, and take on greater technical ownership as you learn the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure record types, case structures, workflows, forms, security models, and business rules based on customer requirements.
• Build, test, and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, database connections, message queues, ETL/ELT processes, and file-based feeds.
• Analyze source data to understand its structure, quality, volume, and classification and retention requirements.
• Create field mappings and transformation logic between customer systems and the platform.
• Develop validation, reconciliation, and exception reporting to verify that migrations and recurring data feeds are complete and accurate.
• Build dashboards, KPI reports, and analytical views for customer stakeholders.
• Participate in requirements sessions, design reviews, data-mapping workshops, demonstrations, and user acceptance testing.
• Use AI coding tools to support development, testing, and analysis while verifying code quality, security, and accuracy.
• Support deployments into secure federal environments and maintain configuration and integration documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
• Contribute reusable connectors, scripts, components, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience, with exposure to data integration or business/data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated technical experience.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or another major relational database.
• Working proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar general-purpose programming language.
• Experience building or consuming REST/JSON and XML-based interfaces, including authentication, pagination, error handling, and retries.
• Experience extending an enterprise platform through APIs and supported extension points, such as a CRM, ERP, ITSM, content management, or workflow platform.
• Experience profiling and cleaning data, developing data models or field mappings, and explaining findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable reporting tool, including writing supporting queries.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and scripting in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and validating their output.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and willingness to complete a federal background investigation and obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• An existing or prior security clearance.
• Experience with federal records management, information governance, or e-discovery.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as OpenText/Documentum, M-Files, IBM, Nuxeo, ServiceNow, Appian, or Salesforce.
• Microsoft 365 integration experience, including Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Purview, or Teams.
• Experience with ETL tools, orchestration, or message-based integrations.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, FedRAMP, or RMF documentation.
• Applied AI/ML experience, including document classification, entity extraction, or retrieval-augmented workflows.
• Relevant cloud, security, information governance, or business analysis certifications.
• Consulting or professional services experience supporting federal customers.

Travel typically involves planned, multi-day visits to customer sites, most often in the Washington, DC area. Until clearance is granted, work will focus on unclassified systems and customer environments.
