Role Summary:
Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of Linux-based platform software for 4G/5G RAN and core network elements. Drive delivery, support, and mentoring for high-performance platform software teams.

What Youll Do:

• Design, architect, code, debug, and deploy 4G/5G network element platform software systems
• Review and mentor high-performance platform software teams towards delivery excellence
• Drive large-scale 4G/5G platform software development, sustenance, and customer support programs
• Communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• RHOCP, Kubernetes, Docker, C/C++
• Expertise in Linux-based bare-metal/virtualized platform software development for 4G/5G RAN and core network elements
• Experience with VPP, DPDK, DOCA, SR IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP/eBPF for user space data plane traffic processing
• Knowledge of Smart NIC, SoC, DPU/FPGA/ASIC CPU offload architectures
• Expertise in multi-process and multi-threaded solution design and implementation
• Experience in root-cause analysis and optimization for network issues (e.g., packet loss, interrupt storms, NUMA imbalance, etc.)
• Design and implementation of scalable, resilient, low latency, deterministic throughput, high availability systems
• Familiarity with networking protocols: Ethernet, IP, eCPRI, PTP, TCP/UDP/GTP/SCTP
• Good knowledge of build environments (make and CI/CD systems
• Experience with container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Programming in C/C++, Python, and OO concepts
• 4G/5G platform software development experience
• Experience delivering 4G/5G platform software development programs

• DPDK

Qualifications:

• BE/B Tech
• Certifications - CNCF Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift
