Platform DevOps Engineer – GCP, Kubernetes & GitOps | Financial Technology | Hybrid Prague

Location: Prague, Czech Republic (Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site)

Are you an experienced Platform DevOps Engineer looking to work on mission-critical cloud infrastructure in the financial services sector?

We're recruiting a Platform DevOps Engineer to join a sophisticated financial technology environment, supporting and enhancing highly available, enterprise-scale infrastructure built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions and Terraform .

This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, improve GitOps automation and help maintain the reliability of business-critical financial risk systems operating 24/7.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and optimising GCP infrastructure and Kubernetes/GKE clusters.
• Enhancing GitOps deployments using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Supporting production OpenShift environments.
• Improving platform resilience, monitoring and zero-downtime delivery.
• Collaborating with engineering, architecture and security teams.

Essential skills

• GCP: Strong production cloud engineering experience.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience managing production clusters.
• ArgoCD: Proven GitOps implementation experience.
• GitHub Actions: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform: Enterprise-scale Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Linux and scripting skills (Python, Bash or Go).

Nice to have

• OpenShift, Helm, Kustomize or service mesh experience.
• Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry.
• Financial services or mission-critical systems experience.
• Experience adopting AI/GenAI technologies.
