Platform Engineer (AWS)

We're looking for a Platform Engineer (AWS) to join our team. If you're passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and platform engineering, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data and cloud platforms that support modern business solutions.

You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to build, automate, secure, and operate cloud-native environments on AWS.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Automate environment provisioning and platform operations
• Support networking, security, and identity management across AWS environments
• Manage AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, DataZone, MWAA, and Step Functions
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational automation solutions
• Support data platform, lakehouse, and governance initiatives
• Manage access controls, roles, permissions, and security configurations
• Contribute to incident management, platform reliability, and release processes
• Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure platform scalability and performance

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Knowledge of Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Experience with cloud networking, infrastructure provisioning, and automation
• Understanding of IAM, Identity Center, RBAC, encryption, and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and operational support processes
• Familiarity with modern data platforms, lakehouses, and data governance concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS DataZone, Lake Formation, Glue Catalog, or Redshift
• Knowledge of Iceberg tables and data platform operations
• Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation initiatives
• AWS Certifications
