Job Title: Senior Azure Platform Engineer

Duration: Long Term Contract

Location: Toronto, Canada

We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to design, build, secure, and support highly scalable Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure networking, Terraform, DevOps, security, and cloud operations in large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services .
• Configure and support Azure VNET, NSG, Firewall, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, and hybrid connectivity .
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
• Implement Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation .
• Manage Azure security using RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud .
• Monitor Azure environments, including logging, alerting, performance, availability, and cost optimization .
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance .
• Support cloud modernization and infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering, security, and application teams to deliver secure and reliable cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Azure Platform / Infrastructure Engineering .
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking and hybrid connectivity .
• Strong Terraform / IaC experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and automation .
• Good knowledge of Azure security and identity services .
• Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting .
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, and high availability .
• Experience in large enterprise or banking environments is preferred.
